The change holder was used by bus drivers and ice cream vendors to hold and provide change to customers as needed. The device had hooks on the back used to hang it off a belt. The tubes held quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. To make change, a lever at each tube allowed for dispensing coins from the bottom each time the lever was depressed.
